What began as a Small Business Management course assignment at CASE grew into a Jamaican horticulture company shaped by perseverance, practical knowledge and a commitment to greener spaces.
Founded by Rohan Anderson
From a Small Idea to an Islandwide Name
Eco.gro Plants and Garden Supplies began as a business idea developed by Rohan Anderson while studying at the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE). The early focus was potted plants and soil for the community.
Transporting delicate plants without formal logistics brought difficult lessons. Instead of giving up, Rohan decided to grow Eco.gro’s own plants—deepening the company’s knowledge of propagation, soil science, pest management and long-term plant health.
Today, Eco.gro combines indoor plant services, professional horticulture and hardscape solutions, garden maintenance, irrigation, exotic potted plants, garden supplies and floral arrangements for residential, corporate and commercial clients.
